Report Design: Covid Report
Report Design | Covid-19 Report
Client: Northwest Indigenous Council
The COVID-19 Strategic Preparedness and Response Plan is a comprehensive report design that communicates the impacts of the pandemic on Northwest Indigenous communities with clarity, care, and respect. Developed by Tom Norman of KAPOW Creative, the project translates complex research and community-informed insights into a format that is both accessible and visually compelling.
The design approach balances urgency with sensitivity. A strong red colour palette reflects the seriousness of the subject matter while creating visual cohesion throughout the report. Structured layouts and clear typographic hierarchy guide readers through detailed information, supporting both quick reference and in-depth understanding. Data, narratives, and key messages are thoughtfully organized to ensure the content remains approachable without losing its depth or significance.
Imagery and graphic elements are used with intention to reinforce the human impact of the pandemic while maintaining a respectful tone. The overall composition supports the report’s purpose as both an informative resource and a document of lived experience.
The result is a clear, impactful publication that amplifies important perspectives and provides meaningful insight into the challenges faced by Northwest Indigenous communities during COVID-19, while supporting informed planning and response efforts.
