Métis Nation BC (MNBC) Strategic Plan Report

KAPOW Creative was engaged by The Howe Group to design a clear, engaging, and accessible report for MNBC’s new four-year Strategic Plan. Working closely with the project team, we developed a visual approach that honoured MNBC’s brand and cultural identity.

The design integrates a Métis beadwork motif throughout, complemented by photography provided by Métis Nation BC. Custom graphics and infographics were created to echo the colour palette and organic shapes of the beadwork, ensuring a cohesive and culturally grounded visual system.

The report is organized into five main sections, each distinguished through the use of colour, structure, and shape for easy navigation. A consistent sidebar guides readers by clearly indicating their place within the document. Clean, legible typography and generous whitespace create a comfortable reading experience, supporting the plan’s goal of being both informative and approachable.
