This Brewery Tour Map was created as a collaborative initiative with local microbreweries and the Hastings North Business Improvement Association, celebrating the vibrant craft beer culture of East Village in Vancouver. Designed by KAPOW Creative, the piece functions as both a practical wayfinding guide and an interactive passport experience that encourages exploration and discovery.

The illustrated map brings the neighbourhood to life through detailed, approachable visuals that clearly guide users between participating breweries. Thoughtful layout and hierarchy ensure that key locations, routes, and landmarks are easy to identify at a glance, making the map intuitive for both locals and visitors.

Beyond navigation, the design introduces an element of play. The fold-down, passport-sized format invites users to carry it throughout their visit, collecting stamps at each stop along the route. This tactile feature transforms the map into a keepsake, reinforcing engagement and encouraging participants to visit multiple locations.

Balancing function with personality, the project demonstrates how illustration, information design, and user experience can work together to create a memorable and highly usable piece that supports local businesses while enhancing the visitor experience.
